Name That Voice

Want to have your students record information even if they do not have the technology to do so? Using a simple microphone or even a telephone, you can create audio files for free at http://www.odeo.com.

Just a quick note about this topic. The eMacs in SRU's McKay Bldg. have GarageBand for students to record sound. We've been experimenting enhancing the recordings by editing & using copyright friendly sound clips to create some very professional results. We've recently been awarded a grant for the purchase of headset/microphones for the whole lab. Anyone is welcome to use the equipment. Please contact Leigh Forbes x2316 for more information. (On the PC side, I've been using Audacity...my daughter is 7 & just recorded a CD of her own by laying down multiple music & vocal tracks!)
