The Best Things Come in Small Packages
Are you sick of posting URLs in emails only to have it break when sent causing the recipient to have to cut and paste it back together? I occasionally use an online sevice called TinyURL to help me with this problem. For example, this monster URL (which I use frequently):
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?latlongtype=
internal&addtohistory=&latitude=
Ww05rMXA7bI%3d&longitude=N93yqL1EzGs%3d&name=
Slippery%20Rock%20University&country=US&address=
1%20Morrow%20Way&city=
Slippery%20Rock&state=PA&zipcode=16057&phone=
724%2d738%2d9000&spurl=0&&q=
slippery%20rock%20university&qc=Schools%20%28K%2d12%29
Becomes http://tinyurl.com/ob8ph
Go ahead & try it!
